Job Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in the Surgery Resource Team A. This includes administering prescribed medical treatments, leading a health care team, and coordinating patient care and discharge under the supervision of the Manager Health Services.

The ideal candidate will possess recent acute nursing experience and be a graduate of an approved registered nursing education program. Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide independent nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications accurately.
  • Lead the health care team in providing patient-centered care.
  • Coordinate patient care and discharge plans.
Requirements
  • Recent acute nursing experience required.
  • Graduate of an approved registered nursing education program.
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
