Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled surgical nurse to join our team at Concordia Hospital. As a Surgical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced surgical environment. Your expertise and experience will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and support in the perioperative setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans
- Assist with surgeries and procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports on patient care activities
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Experience working in a surgical setting, preferably in orthopedic surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
