Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Host/ess to join our team at Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort. As a Host/ess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional quality and service to create memorable experiences. This role requires excellent personal presentation, interpersonal skills, and fluency in English. The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality, a can-do approach, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests promptly and courteously, making eye contact and smiling
  • Take reservations and manage the daily reservation book
  • Seat guests without reservations, utilizing Open Table
  • Maintain a complete working knowledge of menus, ingredients, and availability
  • Familiarize yourself with server stations, assignments, timing patterns, and maximum workload capacity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English
  • Able to stand for up to 8 hours a day
  • A flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
