About the RoleBusiness Development & Account ManagementThis role involves developing and implementing an annual business plan to deliver profitable sales and achieve year-over-year volume and profit growth objectives at designated group of customers, specialty accounts, and distributors.
You will lead the complete sales process through new product sell-in, new customer acquisition, business planning, reorders, negotiation, forecasting, trade fund management, and business reviews.
Achieving profitable growth through the understanding and implementation of key sales fundamentals; distribution, pricing, promotion, and display is essential for this role.
You will strengthen customer relationships by understanding customers' strategies and acting as a consultant on product and industry trends.
Create and own internal revenue reporting, as well as customer-specific POS data reports, to deliver and action weekly insights.
Trade StrategyYou will develop a promotional playbook and execute profitable promotional plans that drive incremental revenue for our retail customers and PORTA.
Demonstrating and building upon financial acumen through the understanding and management of PORTA and customer P&Ls is crucial for success.
Shopper Marketing & Customer ActivationsYou will partner with customers to drive in-store awareness via POS, customized offers, ads, etc., and lead internal creative briefing for all customized marketing activities.
Connect with our retailer partners in stores to foster our relationship and seek product and performance feedback via monthly in-store visits.
About YouRequirements- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Power Point)
- High energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player
- Self-starter, must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic company environment
- A valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and ability to travel up to 10%
- University Bachelor's Degree, business degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of CPG sales experience
- Strategic thinker; business and financial acumen
- Impactful verbal and written communication skills
- Effective customer presentation skills
- Detail oriented, with exceptional time management and organizational skills
We offer a competitive salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a hybrid work arrangement.
