We are a leading restaurant chain specializing in Indian cuisine, and we are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team.

Job Summary

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Development
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to enhance customer experience and drive sales
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets
    • Ensure that all dishes are presented in an attractive and appealing manner
  • Kitchen Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food meets high quality standards and is prepared in a safe and sanitary environment
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency and excellence
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of Indian cuisine
    • Excellent leadership and management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment is essential.
