Server Position at Fantasyland Hotel
The Server is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive and personalized service. As a Server, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and preferences.
- Take orders, manage tables, and ensure timely service.
- Recommend wine pairings and educate guests on our menu offerings.
- Familiarize yourself with our menu, specials, and preparation times to provide accurate information to guests.
- Present bills, accept payment, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commissions and Safe Food Handling practices.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and reconcile cash and floats at the end of each shift.
- Promote daily events, activities, and specials to drive business and revenue growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience serving in a fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly personality.
- Knowledge of wine and ability to educate guests on wine pairings.
- Completion of ProServe or willingness to attend required training.
Terms of Employment:
- This is a part-time position with varied shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.
- The starting wage is $15.00 per hour.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
