Quality Improvement and Healthcare Operations Manager

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is a world-class innovator in medical care, research, and teaching. We are seeking an experienced Quality Improvement and Healthcare Operations Manager to join our team.
This role plays a key part in enriching our organization-wide improvement culture. You will support leaders and teams in identifying opportunities for improving patient care and quality. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and implementing strategies to achieve these improvements.
You will work closely with medical staff and clinicians to develop quality improvement and change management capabilities. Your strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in building relationships with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of quality improvement initiatives and lead their implementation
- Collaborate with medical staff and clinicians to design and implement strategies for improving patient care and quality
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to promote and enhance services provided
- Provide data analysis and visualization to drive insights and support decision-making
- Masters degree in Health Administration, Health Planning, Business Administration or Behavioural Sciences, supplemented by postgraduate coursework in healthcare planning or health policy development and analysis
- Five to seven years' recent experience in utilizing methodologies and tools to support process improvement and system redesign, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (ASQ or recognized institution) or PMP/CaPM/PMI-SP are assets
