The role of the Education Consultant is multifaceted, requiring expertise in program development, quality improvement, and education policy. As a key member of the team, you will provide confidential consultation to registrants and program representatives on the education program review process, including the incorporation of entry-level competencies and standards of practice.

As a seasoned professional, you will possess a doctoral or master's degree in nursing or midwifery, with experience in continuous quality improvement strategy development and short- and long-term strategic planning. Your expertise in research, academic activities, and scholarly writing will enable you to effectively communicate with external stakeholders and internal staff.

With a strong understanding of equity, diversity, inclusion, and cultural humility, you will be able to lead the consultation process for the BC jurisdiction and collaborate with other Education Consultants to review entry-level nursing and midwifery programs and courses. Your ability to synthesize evidence from source documents and EPRC meeting records will enable you to draft program recognition reports and letters, as well as maintain communication with education program administrators.
