Production Employee - Canada
Shift Schedule: Must be able to work all shifts
Responsibilities:
- Identify and report any safety, quality, or operational concerns to the team lead or supervisor.
- Make safe decisions and take well-thought-out actions to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform tasks to preset efficiency and quality levels, and follow proven practices once trained.
- Set up and operate various CNC and manual machines, including mills, lathes, grinders, presses, and custom automated machines.
- Safely operate support equipment, such as forklifts, cranes, and lifts.
- Build and break down sintering furnace heats, and take metallurgical measurements of sintered products.
- Prepare sintering furniture, clean and paint plugs and trays, and create non-conformance reports.
- Measure and inspect parts according to blueprint specifications, and accurately record production information.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Effective problem-solving skills and basic computer skills.
