Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator to join our team in Canada. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC and manual machines, including mills, lathes, grinders, presses, cold isostatic press, drybag machine, saws, and custom automated machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality products.
- Safely operate support equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and lifts.
- Build and break down sintering furnace heats.
- Take metallurgical measurements (Hc & MS) of sintered product.
- Prepare sintering furniture, including cleaning and painting plugs and trays.
- Create Non-Conformance Reports and determine remedial action.
- Measure and inspect parts according to blueprint specifications.
- Accurately record production information, including good and scrap pieces, order number, powder grade, and quantity issued.
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Retention and use of learned skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
