Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator to join our team in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various CNC and manual machines, including mills, lathes, grinders, presses, and saws. The operator will also be responsible for safely operating support equipment, such as forklifts, cranes, and lifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality products.
- Safely operate support equipment, such as forklifts, cranes, and lifts, to move materials and products.
- Build and break down sintering furnace heats, and take metallurgical measurements of sintered products.
- Prepare sintering furniture, including cleaning and painting plugs and trays.
- Create non-conformance reports and determine remedial action.
- Measure and inspect parts according to blueprint specifications.
- Accurately record production information, including good and scrap pieces, order numbers, powder grades, and quantities issued.
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to retain and use learned skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work in a team environment.
