Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and report any safety, quality, or operational concerns to the team lead or supervisor.
- Make safe decisions and take well-thought-out actions to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Be willing to work in various areas of the plant and adapt to changing priorities.
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure quality and efficiency in production.
- Operate various CNC and manual machines, including mills, lathes, grinders, presses, and custom automated machines.
- Safely operate support equipment, such as forklifts, cranes, and lifts.
- Build and break down sintering furnace heats, and take metallurgical measurements of sintered products.
- Prepare sintering furniture, clean and paint plugs and trays, and create non-conformance reports.
- Measure and inspect parts according to blueprint specifications.
- Accurately record production information, including good and scrap pieces, order numbers, powder grades, and quantities issued.
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications.
