The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, and for ensuring that customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.
Responsibilities- Assist the Store Manager in the management of store operations, including scheduling, inventory, and customer service.
- Provide leadership and guidance to sales associates, and support their development through training and coaching.
- Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with the recruitment and selection of sales associates, and participate in the training and development process.
- Support the Store Manager in the management of store budgets, and ensure that expenses are managed effectively.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of optical products and services is an asset.
- Ability to work a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends.
