Job Description

SAJO is seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our technical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems, particularly Procore, are aligned with our organizational goals and needs.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Monitor Procore system performance, analyze trends, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reliability.
  • Operational Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and streamline operations within Procore and other systems.
  • Industry Trends and Emerging Technologies: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for Procore adoption and integration when appropriate.
  • System Performance Insights: Provide insights into systems performance, improvements, and risks, with a specific focus on Procore.
  • KPIs and Reporting: Create and maintain KPIs, reports, and dashboards for the operational and executive management teams.
  • System Security: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in Procore systems and implement measures to enhance security.
  • Platform Administration: Conduct ongoing administration, support, and maintenance of the Procore platform.
  • End-User Support: Provide end-user support services, guidance, and training for construction technologies in a responsive, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Issue Resolution: Review, investigate, and resolve issues with the program through guides or Procore support.
  • Compliance: Ensure the compliance of the operational teams with company standards and procedures.
  • Platform Adoption: Drive platform adoption and excitement within the organization by demonstrating the value of the tool and encouraging best practices while promoting company efficiency and providing continuous learning to increase the skillset of all internal personnel.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the creation and maintenance of the Training Center.
  • Mentorship: Support and mentor new employees.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks related to project management.
Requirements:
  • Education: DEC in administration, IT, construction engineering, or any related education.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the construction industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Procore Proficiency: Proficiency in Procore or other Project Management Software is considered a strong asset.
  • Tech Savviness: Tech-savvy individual with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software systems is considered an asset.
  • Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in both English and French (spoken and written) is required.
  • Soft Skills: Patient and empathetic approach to interacting with others, ability to manage several projects at once and change priorities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
