GFL Environmental is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our Kitchener branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding new drivers and hires
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and reporting monthly and weekly updates
  • Maintaining drivers' files and ensuring compliance with licensing and medical requirements
  • Licensing trucks and scheduling inspections
  • Providing administrative support to the branch team

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-year degree in business-related field and 3 years' experience in an administrative capacity or equivalent combination
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing
  • Ability to type 50 WPM
