Job Title: District Sales Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the Eastern Ontario – Western Quebec Territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with customers, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including distribution and key customers.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of the competition.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including sales activity, customer feedback, and market trends analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industrial sales experience.
- 3+ years of proven Industrial Automation experience commensurate with the level of this position.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French (Bilingual).
- Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust and close deals.
- Proven understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Technical proficiency with the ability to understand technical issues and troubleshoot problems.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel 25% - 35% with overnight and extended travel days mostly within the assigned territory, but also to other Canadian or US locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Industrial experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Fluid Power knowledge/experience.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, and sales-related tools.
