We're seeking an experienced culinary professional to fill the role of Executive Kitchen Leader at Chuck's Steakhouse, a luxurious dining establishment in Banff. Our restaurant features an exclusive collection of high-quality, locally sourced Alberta beef served in a stylish ranch-inspired setting with breathtaking mountain views.
About the Role:
- This position involves overseeing the kitchen team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
- You will be responsible for maintaining kitchen organization, efficiency, and supervising all food preparation to meet presentation, quality, and standards.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
- A flexible schedule is required, as you will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
About You:
- With 2-3 years of culinary experience and prior experience in a supervisory role, you are well-equipped to manage the kitchen team.
- Food Safety certification is mandatory, and knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff is essential.
- You must be able to work effectively under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor, even in stressful situations.
- Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
- Able to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively, you are a true leader who inspires confidence and motivation within your team.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, plus additional benefits, including a $200 welcome gift card, 50% off food and beverages, and comprehensive health insurance.
