About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our high-volume kitchen operations at Pursuit Collection.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food products meet the highest quality standards and are prepared in accordance with our company's values and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional service and culinary excellence.
  • Develop and implement menu plans, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and efficiency in food preparation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and controlling waste to minimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless service experiences for our guests.
  • Manage labor costs, scheduling, and training programs to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform menu development and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with executive chefs to develop new menu concepts and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and career development.

Requirements

  • Journeyman's Red Seal certification or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years' management experience in a high-volume food service operation.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and budgeting software.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and exceeding customer expectations.
