Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Ponderosa Motor Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, ensuring that their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Staff Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work for our front desk and housekeeping teams, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Hire and train new staff members in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.
- Operations: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for repairs as needed to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Procurement: Requisition materials and supplies as needed, ensuring that our hotel is well-stocked and equipped to meet the needs of our guests.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle a large workload, and work under pressure.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
