Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Ponderosa Motor Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our staff are equipped to provide it.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, ensuring that their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Staff Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work for our front desk and housekeeping teams, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Hire and train new staff members in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.
- Operations: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for repairs as needed to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as needed, ensuring that our hotel is well-stocked and ready to meet the needs of our guests.
- Leadership Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with a focus on business or a related field.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a large workload, tight deadlines, and a focus on customer service delivery.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
