Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our management team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities- Record and prepare minutes of meetings: The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking minutes during meetings and preparing documents accordingly.
- Schedule and confirm appointments: Coordinating appointments and meetings with various stakeholders is a key aspect of this role.
- Answer telephone and relay messages: Responding to phone calls and relaying messages to the relevant parties is an essential task.
- Compile data and statistics: Gathering and analyzing data to provide insights to the management team.
- Maintain office supplies and inventory: Ensuring that the office has adequate supplies and maintaining an inventory system.
- Support for newcomers and refugees: Providing assistance to newcomers and refugees in settling into their new lives, including help with housing, transportation, and other basic needs.
- Support for youths: Creating a welcoming work environment for youth by providing awareness training to employees.
- Support for Indigenous people: Participating in initiatives that support Indigenous people, fostering diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
