Executive Assistant

We're looking for an Executive Assistant to join our head office located in Vernon, British Columbia. Our head office houses Tolko's corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.
A minimum 3 years' relevant experience in an equivalent administrative role.
Relevant post-secondary education is an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organization, clear communication, attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
Experience planning and managing events and meetings, preparing and coordinating presentations, and managing calendars is required.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to connect strategies to decision making that support business growth.
General knowledge of the forest industry is considered an asset.

**In this role you will**:
Provide support to the Vice President People and Services and to the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Logistics in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Aid the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Logistics direct reports with coordinating key team functions, driving team reporting, contributing to projects and events aligned with business strategies.
Support the People & Services team with various programs and initiatives.
Interact with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Build strong relationships with customers, vendors and stakeholders.
Network and maintain positive connections.
Contribute to business success.
Collaborate with the Marketing Department to produce compelling product content.
