About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Happy Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing
    • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
    • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
    • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Supervision and Teamwork
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of other installation team members
    • Ensure that all team members are working safely and efficiently
  • Worksite Environment and Safety
    • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
    • Ensure that all worksites are safe and secure for yourself and others
  • Communication and Problem-Solving
    • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders
    • Identify and resolve problems or issues that may arise during installation
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Worksite Environment and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Tools and Equipment
    • Steel-toed safety boots
