Key Responsibilities

  1. Leverage cutting-edge data science applications to address business challenges.
  2. Engage in collaborative discussions with team members to identify and implement suitable analytical methodologies, generating actionable business insights.
  3. Comprehend the business landscape by analyzing existing data models in conjunction with senior client stakeholders to extract valuable insights.
  4. Utilize tools such as SQL to extract, transform, and structure data into comprehensive datasets.
  5. Decompose projects into specific tasks encompassing business analysis, data science, and engineering disciplines.
  6. Lead teams of business analysts in developing data-centric solutions.
  7. Design and implement data analytics frameworks and solutions to resolve data-related business issues.
  8. Apply Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Operational Research techniques to construct data models.
  9. Demonstrate proficiency in building and maintaining predictive and/or prescriptive models at an enterprise level.
  10. Develop and execute simulation, optimization, and scenario planning tools to facilitate informed decision-making.
  11. Exhibit the ability to analyze data, identify key information, formulate hypotheses, and present recommendations to diverse audiences.
  12. Maintain a consistent record of cross-functional collaboration to create innovative solutions through advanced analytics.
  13. Effectively synthesize and communicate complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  14. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft and deliver impactful presentations.
  15. Familiarity with agile development practices.
  16. Implement appropriate quality assurance measures to validate results.

Qualifications

  1. 12-14 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 8 years focused on business data analytics.
  2. Experience in the Retail or CPG sector is essential.
  3. A background in Supply Chain management, with experience in Demand, Supply, Shipping, and Inventory Planning, is highly advantageous.
  4. Proficiency in handling large datasets, particularly in the context of business analysis.
  5. Experience collaborating with offshore teams.
  6. A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a preference for experience in Supply Chain planning, E-commerce, and retail operations.
  7. Demonstrated technical and analytical capabilities using tools such as Python, SQL, Git, Power BI, PySpark, and MS Azure services.
  8. Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders to translate business challenges into high-level analytical solutions.
  9. Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration to develop innovative analytical solutions.
  10. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to develop and deliver presentations.
  11. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  12. Strong project management and team leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams.
  13. Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms.
  14. Exposure to cloud platforms and big data technologies such as Hadoop HDFS and Hive is a plus.
