We are seeking a candidate who combines strong business consulting capabilities with a solid background in data analytics. Key Responsibilities

  1. Apply cutting-edge data science methodologies to address business challenges.
  2. Engage in collaborative discussions with team members to identify and implement relevant analytical techniques, producing actionable business insights.
  3. Comprehend the business context by analyzing existing data models with senior client leaders to extract valuable insights.
  4. Utilize tools such as SQL to extract, transform, and organize data into structured datasets.
  5. Decompose projects into specific tasks that encompass business analysis, data science, and engineering.
  6. Lead teams of business analysts in the development of data-driven solutions.
  7. Design data analytics frameworks and solutions to tackle data-centric business issues.
  8. Employ Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Operational Research techniques to construct data models.
  9. Demonstrate experience in building and maintaining predictive and/or prescriptive models at an enterprise level.
  10. Develop and execute simulation, optimization, and scenario planning tools to facilitate decision-making.
  11. Exhibit the ability to analyze data, identify critical information, formulate hypotheses, and present recommendations to a wider audience.
  12. Maintain a consistent record of cross-functional collaboration to devise innovative solutions utilizing advanced analytics.
  13. Possess prior experience in synthesizing and presenting complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership teams.
  14. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations.
  15. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  16. Implement appropriate quality checks to ensure the integrity of results.

Qualifications

  1. 12-14 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 8 years in business data analytics.
  2. Experience in the Retail or CPG sectors is essential.
  3. A background in Supply Chain and experience in Demand, Supply, Shipping, and Inventory Planning is highly desirable.
  4. Experience with large datasets is preferred, particularly in the context of business analysis.
  5. Experience collaborating with offshore teams.
  6. A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a preference for experience in Supply Chain planning, E-commerce, and retail operations.
  7. Demonstrated technical and analytical skills using analytics tools such as Python, SQL, Git, Power BI, PySpark, and MS Azure services.
  8. Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders to translate business challenges into high-level analytical solutions.
  9. Capability to work collaboratively across functions to create innovative solutions using advanced analytics.
  10. Prior experience in synthesizing and presenting complex analyses to non-technical audiences, including senior leadership teams.
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations.
  12. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  13. Strong project management and team leadership skills, with the ability to work with global teams.
  14. Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms.
  15. Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as Hadoop HDFS and Hive is advantageous.
