Executive Chef Candidate

At Banff Hospitality Collective, we're seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to lead our culinary team at Pizzeria Sophia. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about Italian cuisine and has a proven track record of success in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team in producing high-quality food experiences for our guests
- Collaborate with the Chef to maintain kitchen organization, efficiency, and supervise all food preparation
- Manage food and product ordering, minimizing waste and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards
- Develop and implement kitchen procedures, training kitchen staff, and promoting a positive work environment
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of culinary experience, with prior supervisory experience in a kitchen role
- Prior experience in an Italian cuisine kitchen is an asset
- Food Safety certification and knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
