Executive Chef for National Park Resort

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment. Located in an iconic and unforgettable location, this is a full-time regular salaried position that requires relocation to Alberta, Canada.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have 3-5 years of management experience in high-volume food service and restaurant operations. They will be responsible for supervising food preparation, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring consistent quality standards. A strong background in high-volume production kitchens and banquet operations is essential.
This role requires Journeyman's Red Seal or equivalent, as well as experience in demonstration cooking, menu writing, development, and costing. The ability to manage labor and food costs, inventory control systems, and maintain health and safety protocols is also required.
A comfortable guest-facing and tableside interaction style, along with flexibility to work in various locations, is necessary. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the latest sanitation and HACCP standards, computer literacy, and effective administration through inventory programs.
The Sous Chef will be expected to create consistency without compromising creativity, working independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working on their feet for extended periods, adhering to the Pursuit grooming policy, and having standard first-aid or higher as an asset is required.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000-$120,000 CAD, depending on experience.
