Sudden Sally is on the hunt for an Executive Pastry Chef to elevate the pastry program in our two thriving cafes and restaurants. If you're a master of crafting croissants, breads, cookies, and stunning pastries, and have a flair for leadership, this is your chance to shine. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering unforgettable culinary experiences while thriving in a vibrant, world-class destination.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the pastry operations for two high-volume locations, ensuring impeccable quality and presentation.
- Develop a diverse range of pastries, from classic favorites to innovative creations, tailored to our cafes and restaurant guests.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to harmonize pastry offerings with savory menu items, creating a cohesive and elevated dining experience.
- Oversee inventory and procurement to ensure cost-effective purchasing and the use of the freshest ingredients.
- Mentor and inspire a dedicated pastry team, fostering creativity and maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Leader with a passion for creating exceptional baked goods.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
- Expertise in both traditional and modern pastry techniques, with a focus on consistency and quality.
- At least 5 years of experience in a high-volume, quality-driven environment.
- A talent for creating beautifully plated desserts for both à la carte and large-scale banquets.
