About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a Sales Clerk, you will provide exceptional retail services to our unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the set-up and maintenance of retail departments, including electronics, computers, appliances, and furniture
  • Provide technical and professional advice on sales and products offered
  • Assist with ordering stock and ensuring shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed
  • Explain and sell extended warranty programs and accessories
  • Operate Point of Sales systems, debit/credit machines, and maintain a float
  • Provide a variety of other retail services, including dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services
Requirements
  • Acceptable combination of education, training, and experience in electronics, computers, equipment, furniture, and appliances
  • Experience in selling extended warranty and accessories, cash handling, sales, and merchandising
  • Food Handling Certification, as required
  • Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership competencies
  • French language proficiency (Essential)
