About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to join our team at Mazergroup. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the efficient management of resources, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Direct and control daily operations, plan and organize daily activities, and manage staff and assign duties.
  • Financial Management: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, and oversee payroll administration.
  • Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize spreadsheet software and MS Outlook to manage operations and communicate with team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Willing to relocate for this position, and able to work in a rural area.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in spreadsheet software and MS Outlook.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Partnership: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Settlement Support: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, such as housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Integration Support: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
  • Refugee Support: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, and supports them with foreign credential recognition and mentorship programs.
