Mazergroup is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the effective management of our Service Department, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximum profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and Manage Technicians: Ensure efficient use of resources, minimize overhead, and maximize productivity.
- Generate and Promote Service Business: Develop and implement strategies to increase service revenue, including targeted advertising and preventative maintenance programs.
- Customer Service and Communication: Work with customers and technicians to explain repairs and expenses, resolve complaints, and offer value-added services.
- Work Order Management: Create, maintain, track, and close service work orders for various manual and electronic systems.
- Department Budget and Targets: Meet and exceed department budget and targets, ensuring maximum profitability.
- Health and Safety: Co-Chair the Health and Safety Committee, promoting a highly safety-conscious environment.
- Advanced Management Skills: Proven ability to manage a technical staff, shop, and projects, including effective employee scheduling.
- Workplace Health and Safety Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Marketing Experience: Marketing experience is considered an asset.
- Customer Service: Proven customer service experience in a sales and service capacity.
- Mid-Level Technical Knowledge: Mid-level technical knowledge and understanding of equipment and systems.
- Financial Knowledge: Basic knowledge of financial statements and creation of annual budgets.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and web browsing.
- Travel: Ability to travel 2-3 times per year for Company and Vendor Training sessions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean abstract is required.
