Business Development Director

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our sales team in Canada and Europe. As a key player in the veterinary industry, Dispomed is committed to providing excellent service and equipment to our customers.
This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in negotiation, analysis, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience managing sales teams and a proven track record of driving sales success.
The Business Development Director will be responsible for:
- Managing, supervising, and supporting the sales and customer experience team
- Ensuring proficiency in the complete sales cycle of technical and specialized equipment
- Actively engaging in the field with team members during business trips and conferences
- Strengthening existing territories while identifying growth opportunities
- Planning and coordinating the launch of new products
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- University degree in administration, marketing, or a related field
- At least 8 years of significant experience managing sales teams
- Advanced bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Experience in selling technical and/or medical equipment (an asset)
- Knowledge of the medical and/or veterinary field (an asset)
The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Frequent travel across Canada and internationally is required, with weekly presence at the office for management committee meetings and a hybrid work schedule.
