About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as an Executive Director of Indigenous Health Services Integration at Northern Health Authority.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the development of short, middle, and long-term practice integration strategies and services to align with our strategic plan and support Indigenous health practice integration. As part of our leadership team, you will work collaboratively with service leads, clinical leaders, physicians, and professional staff to improve the alignment of Indigenous Health program goals with our Strategic Plan.

Job Description

The Executive Director, Indigenous Health Service Delivery Integration, reports to the Vice President Indigenous Health and Chief Planning & Quality Officer. This role requires significant management and leadership experience in a large, complex public sector environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current health care issues and trends, as well as knowledge of current Indigenous health topics and issues in Canada, BC, and within rural/remote realities of the North.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and adjusting related policies, procedures, and practices. You will also provide leadership to the development and implementation of Indigenous change work in NH's health service delivery to improve services, partnerships, and experiences of Indigenous People and NH staff.
