Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Services Technician to join our team at Verra Mobility in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, re-locating, repairing, and maintaining digital Photo Enforcement solutions for municipal Public Safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair business electronic equipment.
  • Inspect and test electronic equipment, components, and assemblies using multimeters, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes, and other electronic test instruments, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform daily checks of enforcement systems to confirm operations and monitor all systems, including timely downloads, battery health, and overall image quality and performance.
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports.
  • Provide installation support for new approach builds on construction sites or the relocation of mobile systems.
Requirements
  • A two-to-three year college program completion in electronics, engineering, or computer science, or related work experience of 3+ years.
  • Experience in digital photography, network installation, and computer technology is required.
  • Ability to work outside with minimal supervision required.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), strong multi-tasking, and effective organizational skills.
Work Environment

The Field technician will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions year-round, such as wet and/or humid environments, cold and/or heat, dusty and noisy work environments. Noise levels will typically be moderate to moderately loud.

The estimated salary range for this position is $25.50 - $27.16 CAD per hour, and it is overtime eligible.
