Overview


Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, analyzing and resolving problems related to computer hardware and software, and ensuring seamless operation of our IT systems.



Salary and Benefits


The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $91,000 per year, reflecting the importance of this role in delivering exceptional technical support services to our clients.



Job Responsibilities


As a Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:



  2. Providing technical assistance and support to end-users via phone, email, or on-site visits
  3. Analyzing and resolving problems related to computer hardware and software
  4. Ensuring seamless operation of our IT systems by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems to senior technicians
  5. Maintaining accurate records of work performed and resolution details
  6. Collaborating with other teams to resolve problems and improve overall system performance


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:



  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of computer hardware and software, operating systems, and network protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong understanding of SLA (Service Level Agreement) and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) management principles


Working Environment


You will be stationed at our site, where you will work closely with other technical specialists to ensure seamless operation of our IT systems. You will be required to travel to different sites as necessary or required by the customer.



Education and Qualifications


A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Additionally, relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Cisco CCNA would be an asset.
