Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Security Guard to provide safe and secure environments for our clients and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular foot patrols, evicting loiterers, attending incidents, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure site safety and security
  • Evict any loiterers blocking entrances or stairwells
  • Attend incidents, de-escalate situations, and write detailed reports
  • Interact with clients and the general public, providing excellent customer service
  • Other duties as required to meet operational needs
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of work experience in the security industry
  • Reliable personal vehicle to commute to the site
  • Strong communication, customer service, professionalism, and observation skills
  • Confidence approaching and leading in emergency situations
  • A keen eye for watching and reporting irregularities
  • Physical ability to stand and/or patrol for the majority of a shift
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and site safety. The shift times are Monday-Friday, with a total of 20 hours per week. A reliable vehicle is required, as transit is not available at the shift's start time.

Please note that candidates who are living in the Vancouver area are preferred.
