Security Officer Job Description

At Paladin Security, we're seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to alarms in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients, tenants, and the public in a professional and courteous manner
  • Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security incidents
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to stand and/or patrol for the majority of a shift (8-hours average)
  • Confidence interacting verbally with team members, client personnel, members of the public, and emergency services
  • Basic skills in utilizing technology, including writing reports on a computer and communicating via two-way radio
