Security Officer Job Description

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and respond to potential security threats.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to alarms in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security incidents.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A passion for being active and able to stand and/or patrol for the majority of a shift.
  • Physical ability to stand and/or patrol for the majority of a shift.
  • Confidence interacting verbally with team members, client personnel, members of the public, and emergency services.
  • Some experience in security or customer service is an asset.
