We are seeking an experienced Life Insurance Account Representative to join our Desjardins Agent Team Member. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive compensation package of $45,000 to $50,000 base salary plus commission and bonus potential.
About the Role:
This position involves developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and marketing life insurance products. You will also be responsible for providing prompt and accurate customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing sales strategies to meet performance goals and sales targets
- Working closely with the agent to establish and achieve business objectives
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Sales experience, preferably in outside sales or inside sales representative roles
- A successful track record of meeting sales goals and quotas
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask
- Dedication to customer service and the ability to make presentations to potential customers
- A Property & Casualty license (preferred) or the ability to obtain one
Note: This role is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries.
