We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Athabasca Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in cooking and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
