Asset Sales Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maximizing end-of-lease outcomes through a variety of channels, including renewals/extensions with lessees, in-place sales to lessees, or arranging for equipment sales to partners and third parties. This will require you to proactively plan and manage portfolio stream-off maturities by main asset classes, develop sales strategies, and possess in-depth used equipment market knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively coordinate regular reviews with Asset Management, Asset Sales, and Commercial Management to discuss upcoming lease expiries.
- Own the end-of-lease process for the assets assigned to you.
- In cases of equipment returns: determine, negotiate, and organize logistics to ensure cost-efficient and effective delivery of assets to be remarketed.
- Enforce contractual cancellation terms and return conditions, arrange for timely collection of restocking fees, excess usage, and damages to DLL's equipment. All activities must be clearly communicated to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute quality advice on and department/regional plans.
- Align regional plans with Asset Management overall plans.
- Work an assigned worklist for follow-up related to collections/renewals/asset disposition.
- Manage refunds and related documentation to customers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- English language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing) is required.
- Strong focus on customer service and relationship management.
- Empathetic and skilled at building relationships.
- Quality-driven and results-oriented.
- Able to work from home remotely/independently and in a virtual team environment.
- Some degree of functional and technical knowledge of the assets.
- Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.
