About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative for Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base within your designated territory.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities with a wide range of customers, including grocery stores, mass merchandisers, convenience & gas stores, restaurants & bars, and other food service/on-premise establishments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Sell customer promotional plans, incremental displays, and equipment placements that align with the customer's and Coke Canada's business objectives.
  • Evaluate outlet opportunities for new and existing customers.
  • Develop a customized business plan addressing the critical needs of the customer(s).
  • Work collaboratively with merchandising supervisors and order replenishment teams to achieve revenue and profit goals, ensuring appropriate inventory levels and merchandising standards are maintained.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Sell in promotional programs and ensure dealer compliance.
  • Execute channel and customer promotions/programs leveraging national brand strategies.
  • Proactively arrange time and territory to achieve optimum face-to-face selling opportunities.
  • Build or modify displays, sections, end caps, racks & coolers in line with Coke Canada Bottling's standards and programs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in consumer goods industry sales, preferably in direct store delivery sales or major account management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using various computer programs.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
  • Access to a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
