As a Sales Team Lead at United City Yachts, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a high-performing sales team to achieve exceptional results. This is a full-time position based in or around Toronto.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Sales Manager/Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate has deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building and deal closing. We're looking for a quick learner who has strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of success. This role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise and motivate yacht brokers while building and maintaining a high-performance team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. They will be able to lead, motivate and coach sales teams, analyze sales data and performance metrics, and adapt to changing market conditions and sales environments. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills are essential, as well as a strong understanding of the industry, market trends and competitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting sales goals and targets for the team
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans
  • Leading, motivating, and coaching sales team members
  • Analyzing sales performance and providing feedback
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Managing sales operations, including forecasting
  • Collaborating with management team
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
  • Reporting sales performance
  • Conducting performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in managing sales
  • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and coach sales teams
  • Ability to analyze sales data and performance metrics
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and sales environments
  • Strong understanding of the industry, market trends and competitors
  • Experience working with a CRM system in a service-driven business
  • Highly experienced and well-versed in Internet search literacy, cloud-based platforms, social media platforms, mobile applications, Google Suite and Microsoft Office
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $80,000-$90,000 per year
