Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Radiation Oncologist to join our Department of Radiation Oncology. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced radiation oncologist to develop an active practice in treating all GI cancers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an active radiation oncology practice in treating all GI cancers
  • Have radiation oncology training and appropriate additional fellowship training in gastrointestinal oncology
  • Participate in peripheral clinics
  • Conduct an active academic research program complementary to ongoing work in radiation biology, radiation physics, HIFU/hyperthermia, imaging or technology research, or clinical epidemiology
Requirements
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the Province of Ontario
  • Academic appointment in the Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto
  • Fellowship experience including SBRT treatment
  • Strong community ties and an understanding of how to start a GI SBRT program
