About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team in Medical Imaging. As a senior technologist, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our department.

Job Summary

This exciting opportunity involves performing advanced imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and angiography equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex CT and Interventional Radiology procedures according to established protocols and guidelines
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment, including CT scanners and interventional systems
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, obtaining consent and confirming exam validity
  • Review images and present them to radiologists for reporting via Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Maintain radiation safety practices and adhere to regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Preferred registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Experience in CT and Interventional Radiology preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
