Head of Sales and Customer Engagement

Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Generics Retail Sales business across Canada. As Head of Sales and Customer Engagement, you will be responsible for managing the sales organization and customer operations, including service, demand planning, and analytics.
This key leadership role requires a strategic vision and operational expertise to drive customer engagement and business growth. You will collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) and directly oversee a team of ~50 across 3 departments, fostering a culture of performance and continuous development.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute plans to grow generics retail sales, drive engagement, and enhance customer operations
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal functions to ensure alignment on strategies, objectives, and customer needs
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~50, with a focus on the national retail sales group
- Target Setting: Set sales goals, monitor performance, and drive initiatives to achieve revenue growth and successful product launches
- Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with customers, expanding business opportunities and maximizing market demand
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), with 7+ years of sales leadership experience in pharmaceuticals, preferably in generics. Strong knowledge of the Canadian retail pharmacy market is essential, as well as progressive evolving leadership experience managing functions in one or more relevant areas (marketing, product management, customer service, supply chain). Excellent communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in French & English, are also required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for career growth within a leading global pharmaceutical company.
