Occupational Therapist for Mental Health and Substance Use Programs

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client functional capacity, occupational performance, and environmental supports to inform service planning and delivery.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address client goals, needs, and priorities.
• Provide direct and indirect services to clients, including group and individual interventions, education, and support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
• Participate in program planning, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives to promote best practices and service excellence.
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
• Two (2) years' recent experience working in community mental health and/or substance use settings.
• Valid B.C. Class V Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
