Clinical Therapist for Complex Substance Use Cases

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Fraser Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals and families affected by complex substance use cases.
About the RoleThis role will involve providing comprehensive clinical counselling and therapy services to clients, including those in crisis. You will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up support as required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical counselling and therapy services to individuals and families affected by substance use and addiction.
- Assess clients' needs and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide follow-up support and case consultation to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
- Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment to achieve optimal client care.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in addictions counselling or a related field.
- Registration with a relevant professional association.
- Demonstrated knowledge of substance use, mental health disorders, and medication side effects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
