Clinical Liaison

The Clinical Liaison provides expert advice on social policy legislation, participates in program planning and community development work, and supports regional contract performance activities for the Mental Health & Substance Use Bed-Based Treatment and Supported Living Programs. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary care teams, practice leaders, patients, families, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with care teams to provide advice on policy and procedure implementation
- Participate in program planning and community development work
- Support regional contract performance activities
- Liaise with Licensing and residential service providers on legislative and contract compliance
- Participate in contract reviews and quality improvement planning
- Provide clinical expertise and consultation to other health care and community resources
- Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Counselling, or related allied health/social science/health discipline
- Eligible for registration with relevant professional association
- Four years' recent related mental health & substance use experience, including clinical experience in mental health and substance use, contracted services or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
