Transportation Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Oyster Freight Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation logistics department, ensuring the smooth movement of goods and materials from one place to another.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Logistics Plans
The Transportation Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics plans to prioritize tasks, optimize routes, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Coordinate with Cross-Functional TeamsThe successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and sales to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesThe Transportation Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory and supplies, including requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Train and Develop StaffThe successful candidate will be responsible for training and developing staff, including providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Ensure Compliance with RegulationsThe Transportation Logistics Supervisor will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to safety, security, and environmental sustainability.
Requirements- Education
A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
ExperienceAt least 1 year of experience in a logistics or transportation role is required.
SkillsThe successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work EnvironmentThe Transportation Logistics Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail required.
